The Brickyard 400 will be held on July 31. 2011 in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with the race scheduled to get underway at one o’clock. The race will be one hundred sixty laps run on a two point five mile asphalt race track. It will be the nineteenth running of the race and the twentieth race of the 2011 Sprint Cup Series season.
Practice days will be Friday July 29th and Saturday July 30th with the qualifying race on Saturday around two o’clock. Ticket prices for the actual race on Sunday can cost you from forty dollars up to one hundred sixty five dollars. To go to the practice on Friday will cost you ten dollars and the qualifying race on Saturday will be fifteen dollars. Parking starts at twenty dollars plus they have camping options that start at thirty five dollars a day.
If you do not want to camp then there are many hotels in Indianapolis and surrounding towns. Many may not have rooms available but you can check online to see what is available. The Brickyard 400 is not as big of a race as the Indianapolis 500 so it should not be hard to get some type of accommodations close to the track.
