Troubled young actress Lindsay Lohan actually has reasons to smile these days. Despite the many controversies she’s recently faced, including several legal cases, Lohan was still chosen by noted German fashion designer Philipp Plein to be the face of his clothes. Plein personally presented Lohan to the crown who attended the recent Milan Fashion Week as the new face of his fashion line.
The fashion designer said he choose Lohan because she is beautiful, highly acclaimed actress and a model. He said having Lohan as the face of his clothing line can make him create unique images refine, luxury and full of sensuality. It was learned that Plein apparently has a penchant for fallen starlets, as former The OC star, Mischa Barton, was the face of his brand in 2010.
With her new job, Lohan is set to represent the line in a new ad campaign. Lohan She began her career as a chil d fashion model before making her motion picture debut in Disney’s 1998 remake of The Parent Trap at the age of 11. Lohan gained further fame between 2003 and 2005 with leading roles in the films Freaky Friday, Mean Girls and Herbie: Fully Loaded, subsequently appearing in independent films including Robert Altman’s A Prairie Home Companion and Emilio Estevez’s Bobby.
