80 Percent Of People Can’t Last A Day Without Checking Facebook

Facebook addicts on the riseThe social networking website Facebook is becoming more crack like in it’s addictiveness around the world. This conclusion after a recent survey that has shown that almost 80 percent of people could not last a day without checking Facebook. In the survey made by Busted Coverage, Coed magazine and College Candy on 2,500 respondents they found out that many people really have no life are hooked on Facebook.

In the same study, it was also uncovered that 50 percent of the respondents rely on Facebook for the latest news and updates on the lives of friends. The researchers also found out that over 40 percent of the group even check Facebook before brushing their teeth after waking up in the morning. Facebook was launched as a social networking website in February 2004.

As of July 2011, Facebook has more than 750 million active users around the world. Facebook users must register before using the site. Facebook allows any users who declare themselves to be at least 13 years old to become registered users of the website.
