The arms of the law is indeed long after a woman wanted for murder for 41 years in Texas had finally been arrested. The suspect identified as Mary Ann Rivera is now 76 years old had been arrested in connection with the death of her husband in 1970. Based on court records, Rivera fatally doused her husband with a pot of hot grease that lead to his eventual death.
After the death of her husband, the suspect was charged with murder. However, instead of facing her crime, the suspect and her children fled Texas and was able to evade the long arms of the law for 41 years until her recent arrest. The 5 feet, 1 inch tall septuagenarian is now very ill with an ailment that confines her to a wheelchair. According to reports, the whereabouts of the suspect were traced using the latest technology in law enforcement today.
