Greg Halman, an up and coming player in Major League baseball had his baseball career, and his life, cut short in a tragic murder. This developed after Seattle Mariners outfielder Greg Halman, 24 was stabbed to death by his own 22-year-old brother at their home in Rotterdam, Denmark. The police said the two had a heated argument early Monday morning that lead to the fatal stabbing incident.
Alert policemen were able to arrest the suspect after the deadly arguement. The authorities are now interrogating the suspect for the death of his brother. Greg Halman played for the Mariners during the 2010 and 2011 seasons. He played 44 games for the Mariners and hit .207 with two homers and six RBIs. Halman also played internationally with the Dutch national team, playing in the 2009 World Baseball Classic.
The MLB community are now in mourning after the unfortunate death of one of its players, only weeks after another baseball player was kidnapped in Venezuela.
