The torching days of a man tagged in 53 arson fires in Los Angeles, California, involving cars and structures is finally over. The police finally arrested him after causing more than $2 million in damages to the second-largest city in the United States. The police has refused to identify the suspect but the latter was arrested while driving a van similar to one being sought in connection with the fires.
Authorities said the suspect is a male with a light complexion wearing dark clothing and a ponytail. It was learned that the police decided to arrest the suspect in the wake of the series of fires in cars and structures in Hollywood a nd surrounding areas. Despite the arrest of the suspect Los Angeles Police Commander Andrew Smith said they remain vigilant to avoid more fires in their area of jurisdiction. Smith also called on the residents to be always vigilant to avoid the occurrence of more fires in LA.
