The 'Devil Inside' Rules Takes Weekend Box Office Race CrownThe two weeks reign of “Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol” as the top earning film in North America is now a thing of the past. This developed after the fright film “The Devil Inside” overtook it as the top grossing film in the weekend box office race.

The new film produced by Paramount Pictures earned a whopping $34.5 million, to take the top spot in the tight race among films shown in cinemas last week. Former number one film “Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol”, fell to the second spot after earning a respectable $20.5 million. Film experts said the movie about a group of exorcists trying to free a woman possessed by evil spirits, is a huge hit among horror movie fans.

Paramount pictures for its part is very happy with the strong showing of its film and hoped it can retain its crown this week.
