Man Arrested for Having Fake Viagra Pills

On Wednesday, a former law enforcement officer, seventy-one year old Kil Jun Lee from South Korea was arrested.  His arrest came just days after custom officers at the Los Angeles International Airport found his gold bag and luggage stuffed with fake erectile dysfunction pills.  He had returned on February 25th from a trip to South Korea.  In his golf bag and luggage they found 8,993 Cialis, 793 Levitra, and 29,827 Viagra counterfeit pills.  They had a value of more than seven hundred thousand dollars and were concealed in aluminum foil packets.

Man Arrested for Having Fake Viagra PillsWhen he was asked if all the medication was for his own personal use he told them that if he had used all the pills it would have killed him because he had a heart condition.  When an analysis was done by a federal forensics laboratory they found that none of the medication had any ingredients that matched the real medication.

Kil Jun Lee has been charged with trafficking in counterfeit goods.  He was scheduled to make his first appearance in court on Wednesday.
