1 Dead, 4 Wounded in Downtown Louisville Shooting

In downtown Louisville, Kentucky, a shooting prompted by an argument inside a business left one person dead and four others injured, according to investigators.

According to Alicia Smiley, a spokesperson for the Louisville Metro Police Department, officers were summoned to the incident at 11 p.m. on Saturday.

According to Smiley, four people—two men, and two women—were found injured and rushed to a hospital. According to her, three of the males were in stable condition while one was in critical condition.

A second man was discovered shot not far from the first and was also rushed to a hospital, where he passed tragically, according to Smiley. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified him as Demontae Jakwan Tyreek Marshall, 22.
