After an argument in the parking lot, a 12-year-old child allegedly sh*t and k!lled a Sonic Drive-In worker in Texas. On Saturday night, Angel Gomez, 20, was “being disorderly in the parking lot,” according to police in Keene.

This is when Matthew Davis, 32, who was working at the Sonic Drive-In, accosted him. “The argument soon became physical. During the altercation, a juvenile … a passenger in the suspect’s vehicle, retrieved a firearm and fired multiple sh*ts, striking the victim,Keene police said in a statement on Facebook.

Davis was shot at least six times by an “AR-style 22 rifle,” according to Police Chief James Kidd, who spoke to CNN about the incident. At 9:40 p.m., police responded to a 911 call reporting that Davis needed medical attention.

He was evacuated to the hospital, where he was pronounced de@d. Police report said, Gomez and the 12-year-old had already fled the site. Gomez was arr*sted as he returned to the parking lot.

When authorities finally apprehended the teen, they reportedly found multiple we@pons in his possession. According to the police report, both Gomez and the minor have been charged with homicide.

Kidd said the teen is being held in Granbury, but he didn’t know anything else about Gomez. Gomez may or may not have retained legal representation. The distance between Keene and Dallas is roughly 45 miles.
