Apparently, someone called 911 reporting an injury at a Little River trailer park. When police arrived, they discovered a teen who had been wounded in the abdomen and was riding in a Honda on his way to the hospital.

Police in Miami-Dade County said they took control and rushed the boy to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where he later died on Wednesday night.

After 4:30 p.m., police located the teen near 8050 NW Miami Ct. in an area of unincorporated Miami-Dade outside of Miami municipal limits. No suspect information was released.
