Five persons were injured in a gunshot at an apartment complex on Wednesday night and were taken to the hospital. There have been no detentions.
Officers from DPD responded to apartment buildings at 9600 E. Girard Avenue for the shooting, where three people were injured and sent to the hospital, according to DPD. A DPD detective confirmed that two other victims of the incident went to the hospital by themselves. Nearby to this sight is Cherry Creek Reservoir.

In the initial response to the gunshot scene, no arrests had been made, and DPD had no suspect information.
When CBS News Colorado spoke to authorities, there was no established reason for the shooting.
