Police are on the lookout for a baby girl who they say was taken from Walker County.

At 9:40 p.m., an Amber Alert was sent out by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. The child was named Harlow Darby Freeman. She was last seen wearing a tie-dye onesie and pink shorts. She has brown hair and blue eyes.

Police say that the theft took place at 6:50 p.m. on Monday at a home on Crest Avenue in Parrish.

Harlow’s mother wrote on Facebook that her daughter was in her car seat in the back of an SUV when it was stolen. That car is a 2009 Lexus RX350 that is white and has the tag number 3880AR8. The damage on the back passenger side of the car looks like it was fixed with clear tape.

The tweet below verifies the news:

Authorities have released no information surrounding the circumstances of the kidnapping.

Melinda Hutchison, Harlow’s aunt, told reporters that Harlow’s father was in the car with the baby when he ran into a friend’s house. He told them he was only gone for a minute or two, but the SUV was taken during that time.

The family is giving a prize of $5,000 for her safe return.

If you know anything about what happened, call the Parrish Police Department at 205-686-9991 or dial 911.
