Accused Stalker Arrested Near Harry and Meghan's Home

A suspect was caught at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s home in Montecito on Monday, and the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office told CBS News that the person was charged with stalking.

A spokesperson said that the incident happened around 2 a.m. and that the suspect was arrested by a staff member near the home’s service door. Kevin Garcia Valdovinos, who is 29 years old, has been named as the suspect.

When the police showed up, he was charged with following her. The guy who spoke for the jail said that he was put in jail and then let out on $2,500 bail.

The tweet below verifies the news of a stalker:

It’s not clear if the couple was at home when the thing happened. A spokesperson for Prince Harry said that they were in New York City on Tuesday and had a “near-catastrophic car chase” with reporters.

“This relentless pursuit, which lasted more than two hours, almost hit other cars, pedestrians, and two NYPD (New York Police Department) officers multiple times,” the spokesperson said.

The statement said that the chase was caused by “a ring of very aggressive paparazzi.”

They were in the city for the Ms. Foundation Women of Vision Awards, which Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, and they went to. Ragland was also with them during the chase on Tuesday night, a person who works for Harry said.
