After His Small Daughter Was Knocked Down While Playing, The Father Asked Her To Open Her Eyes

A hit-and-run driver killed a seven-year-old girl while she was playing outside her home, and her father urged the dying girl to open her eyes as she lay dying in the street.

The name Katnis Selezneva, a native of Bulgaria, was mentioned in a tribute that her mother Tsvetelina posted online.

On Thursday night in Walsall, a 14-year-old boy was detained on suspicion of reckless driving, according to West Midlands Police.

God took her away too young and weak, said Mrs. Selezneva. My star, I don’t want to say goodbye to you since I lack the willpower to do so.

“How to let you go, my soul hurts and my heart is bleeding,” Who will look after you right now, my angel? I’m helpless; words can’t comfort you enough.

The semi-detached home where Mrs. Selezneva and her truck driver husband Bojil Seleznev reside has a view of the road where their daughter was struck.

“Your dad was calling you, ‘open your eyes, Katnis, dad is here,’ but you closed them forever,” she said. She claimed that every day, her kid would say, “I love you mom, you are the best mom,” to her. On Turnstone Road, Mrs. Selezneva was spotted handing out slices of cake next to flower tributes, which she claimed was a Bulgarian custom.

A sizable amount of flowers, cards, and an age-designated silver balloon had been left by the close-knit community.

On the street where Katnis was killed, “reckless teenagers” were allegedly joyriding on motorbikes, according to locals who said they had regularly warned the municipality of this.

One resident, who wished to remain unnamed, told the Telegraph: “[Joyriding] is a major concern, they’re continually chasing around here.

“I mean, they shouldn’t be driving around like that since this is the first week of the kids’ school holidays.

“creatures, wild creatures. They don’t give a damn; everyone in the area knows youngsters.

Chief Superintendent Phil Dolby reported that his officers had been addressing the problem of unlawful and unruly riding.

“I want to send a clear message to the public that young people in the area are able to ride these bikes because, in many cases, adults are providing the bikes for them to ride,” he said.

They are also accountable for any potential repercussions, thus this behavior must end. The affected communities suffer from it, and it is quite harmful.

The girl was reportedly given life support at the scene before being transported to Birmingham Children’s Hospital, where she was later declared dead, according to West Midlands Ambulance Service.

One mother, who claimed to have performed CPR on the infant prior to the arrival of paramedics, stated that “having to perform CPR on such a small child would live with her forever.”

A different person remarked, “I can’t get her precious little face out of my head.”

We still need to find the involved motorcycle, and I’m sure someone in the neighborhood knows where it is, according to Det Sgt. Paul Hughes.

“I now require that neighborhood to unite and collaborate with me. This is about doing the right thing, not about shielding individuals.
