Fitzgerald said that when police arrived, they found an adult woman who was hurt in front of an apartment.
Responders saw “at least three adult males who had been shot” inside the apartment, which was again in front of an apartment.
Officers gave medical care until firefighters and rescue workers from Birmingham arrived. Fitzgerald said that all of the wounded were taken to nearby hospitals. The woman had injuries that were not caused by the shooting but were not clear.
Fitzgerald said that a guy was found to be dead at the hospital. CBS42 named the guy as Roshode Davidson, who is 36 years old.
Fitzgerald said that the first results of the investigation show that the group was “having a party and celebrating a birthday” at home.
