Alexander Jackson was found guilty by a jury of three counts of first-degree murder for the deaths in 2021 of his parents and sister, who was 19 years old. The deaths occurred at their house.
The sentencing is scheduled to take place on March 3.
On the day it took place, Jackson placed a call to the police and reported that a person wearing a mask had broken into his home and shot his family.
The bodies of Jan, Melissa, and Sabrina Jackson were discovered by the police; each of their bodies had several gunshot wounds. In addition, they discovered that Jackson had a bullet wound to his foot.
Alexander Jackson claimed to the authorities that he was shot while grappling with the intruder over who would get the gun first. In addition to this, they stated that the footage from the security cameras did not show anyone going in or out of the house.
