Arrest Made in Death of Fort Smith Store Clerk

In the shooting death of a Fort Smith store clerk, a 15-year-old boy has been taken into custody.

Friday, Police Chief Danny Baker held a news conference to say that the person had been caught.

Kemual Mark Andrew Stuki is the person who is wanted. He was taken to a place for kids in trouble, but because of the seriousness of the crime, he will be charged as an adult, Baker told reporters.

A police special team in Fort Smith caught the teen Thursday afternoon on a charge of first-degree robbery from a Barling store in December. During the arrest, proof of the death of Chanell Moore was found.

Moore, who was 26 years old, was shot and killed at Doug’s Eastside Convenience Store at 9017 Rogers Ave on March 24.
