A man who was shot overnight told police that he had been lured to a house where he was hit with a gun and tried to be robbed. Two people are being held by the police so they can be questioned.
Around 1 a.m., several calls came in about shots being fired in the 1500 block of Belasco Avenue in Beechview, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety.

A man had been shot in the leg, and they found him. He was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where his condition was stable.
According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, the man said he ran to Belasco Avenue to get help after being lured to a nearby home where people hit him with a gun, tried to rob him, and then fired several shots.
On Napoleon Street in Beechview, a police officer was seen by a photographer from Channel 11.
The event is being looked into.
