Investigations suggest that de la Torre was driving through Rialto when she decided to give the baby alcohol in an attempt to calm the child’s crying. Unfortunately, this decision led to the baby becoming intoxicated.

Legal Proceedings

The condition of the affected child has not been disclosed. Honesti de La Torre has been taken into custody and is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on a bond of $60,000. She is slated to appear in court on Tuesday for further legal proceedings.
