According to local authorities, six people were shot overnight during a massive party in Chico, California, including a 17-year-old who later passed away.
According to a press conference by the police department, patrol officers from Chico Police were sent to an address where a massive party was taking place at 3:26 AM on Saturday. Officers discovered six people, aged 17 to 21, who had been shot.
The victims included the 17-year-old girl who passed away, a 21-year-old man who was admitted to a hospital in the area and is currently in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries, a 20-year-old man who was discharged from the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, a 19-year-old man who was admitted into an area hospital and is currently in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries, and an 18-year-old man who was released from the hospital with

Since the Chico Police Detective Bureau is currently actively looking into the event, police indicated they would not be releasing any names at this time.
