Florida Woman Found Dead on Freeway Spontaneously Leaped From Car

A Florida man whose girlfriend’s body was found on a freeway said that she “ran away” from his car while he was driving.

Albert Ayala, who is 34 years old, is being charged in the death of Tequila Shepherd, whose body was found on I-4 on January 26.

Shepherd was traveling with Ayala as a passenger when he was driving.

The tweet below confirms the news:

Ayala was arrested for an unrelated incident Wednesday when he confessed that he picked Shepherd up from work when she died. He said that they got into a fight when she jumped out of his car.

A person who was driving behind Ayala and saw what happened confirmed what he said.

Ayala said that he tried to get off the freeway so he could go back and get Shepherd, but he lost control of his car and crashed on an off-ramp. He ran away quickly.

He is being held in the Orange County jail and is being charged with leaving the scene of an accident where someone died, leaving the scene of an accident where the property was damaged, and driving with a suspended license.
