Two men have been arrested in Georgia in connection with the death of a guy from Glynn County who was last seen a week ago.
The Glynn County Police Department says they started looking for Michael Dittman, who lives on St. Simons Island and is 51 years old, after his family made a missing person report on May 4.
The family member told the police that they were worried about Dittman because they hadn’t seen or heard from him since May 1.
Officers found Dittman’s body in an overgrown field off Bishop Street in unincorporated Glynn County two days after the probe started.
Officials say that Dittman’s body will be taken to the crime lab of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, where an autopsy will be done. At this point, they don’t know what killed him or how he died.
