1. Go to GreenDot.com/activate or the Green Dot app and click on Register/Activate Now, or call (866) 795-7605.

2 Enter all the information asked for, including personal information and card information.

• Name

• Address

• Birth date

• 16-digit card number

• Expiration date

• 3-digit security code

• Number for a cell phone

3. Type in the three-digit code on the back of your card.

4. Use it after activating it successfully.

To start using your card, go to https://secure2.greendot.com/enroll/get-started.

The card you bought at a store is temporary. It doesn’t have your name or address on it, and it’s not linked to your account. When you register your card successfully, a new card with your name on it will be sent to you in the mail.

To open an account and use all of its features, you need to be online, have a mobile number, and verify your identity (including your SSN). Some features can only be used with an activated, personalized card. For example, when you activate your debit card, you’ll be able to deposit checks, pay bills, transfer money from another bank, and more!

1. Go to the Green Dot app and sign in

2. Go to Settings, then Personal Info, and then choose the thing you want to change.

3. Hit Save

1. Go to GreenDot.com and log in

2. Click on Account Settings in the upper right corner, and then click on Edit Contact Info on the left menu.

3. Change something and click Save
