After bullets were fired at a Los Angeles Police Department car on Wednesday afternoon, police planned to restrict the southbound side of the 110 Freeway.

Authorities from the Los Angeles Police Department stated they were tailing a car driven by a suspect on the 110 Freeway in South Los Angeles because he was wanted in connection with an assault involving a de@dly we@pon.

At 12:10 p.m., someone inside the car started sh*oting at the LAPD car near Gage Avenue on the interstate. It is unclear what led to the suspect’s capture, but police did not return fire and finally had him in custody.

Sky5 footage revealed a black automobile parked on South Grand Avenue close to West 111th Place, an exit from the 110 Freeway located north of the Harbor Gateway.

The location was thought to be connected to the sh*oting, but police would to say whether or not that was where they arrested the perpetrator. The police intended to search the whole 110 Freeway for clues. It was unknown if any law enforcement personnel or bystanders had been hurt.
