Court records show that Jackson Mahomes was arrested Wednesday morning and is now facing multiple charges. These include three felony counts of aggravated sexual battery and a minor count of battery for allegedly attacking an Overland Park restaurant owner and waiter in February.
Court records show that the charges were made on Tuesday in Johnson County District Court and that a warrant was issued for the arrest of 22-year-old Mahomes of Leawood. Mahomes is a social media influencer and the brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
According to the booking record, the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jackson Mahomes at 7 a.m. on Wednesday and put him in jail about 40 minutes later. A $100,000 bond kept him in jail. Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. is when he is supposed to show up.
According to court papers, each of the three sexual battery charges say that Mahomes touched the victim, whose initials were used to identify her, without her permission with “the intent to arouse or satisfy” his or another’s sexual desires while the victim was overcome by force or fear.
The battery charge says that Mahomes touched another victim in a “rude, insulting, or angry manner.”
As a term of his bond, he can’t drink or carry a gun. He is also not allowed to use illegal drugs or chemicals that are controlled by the government. When asked, he must take a test. He also can’t talk to victims or visit their homes or places of work.
He can’t talk about the case, the accused victim, or her business in public, either.

Police Were Looking at the Feb. 25 Incident
Police had already said that they were looking into a Feb. 25 incident at an Overland Park restaurant near West 151st Street and Metcalf Avenue where Mahomes was accused of attacking a waitress and the owner of the business.
Patrick Mahomes’s brother, Mahomes, reportedly shoved a 19-year-old male waiter more than once and then kissed the 40-year-old female owner of Aspens Restaurant and Lounge, 6995 W. 151st St., against her will.
Aspen Vaughn, the owner of the restaurant, told The Star in the past that police said they were looking at surveillance videos from that night as part of their probe.
Mahomes’s lawyer had said before that he didn’t do anything wrong. The Star couldn’t reach the lawyer right away on Wednesday morning.
“During our investigation, we found a lot of proof that contradicts what Jackson’s accuser said, including the words of several witnesses. Mahomes’ lawyer, Brandan Davies, said in a statement at the beginning of March, “We have reached out to law enforcement to give them the results of our investigation so that they can get a full picture of the situation.”
In talks with The Star in early March, both Vaughn and the waiter talked about what it was like to work with Mahomes.
The waiter, who had asked The Star not to use his name before, said that Mahomes came into the diner with about five friends that night.
The waiter said that Mahomes and his group went to the restaurant’s basement office and wouldn’t let the waiter in when he tried to get his water bottle. The waiter said that Mahomes then shoved him and told him to leave.
Soon after that, Vaughn said, Mahomes asked to talk to her alone about the pushing. Once they were in her office, Mahomes supposedly grabbed Vaughn’s neck hard enough to leave a faint bruise that could be seen in a photo she sent to The Star later.
Vaughn also gave The Star a video that she said showed Mahomes grabbing her by the throat and kissing her at least twice in her office just after 10 p.m.
She said, “He forced himself on me and kissed me out of the blue.” She called his attempts unwelcome and shocking, and she thought he was drunk.
