Larry Myers Jr., who was known as “Mr. Buttermilk Biscuits” and was the star of the famous TLC show My 600-Lb. Life died of a heart attack in Texas on June 13. He was 49.

This week, his cousin Todd Darrell wrote on his Facebook page that he had died.
“It is with great sadness that we tell you that my dear cousin Larry Myers has died,” Darrell wrote. “Larry fought the good fight. He’s gotten through some of the hardest things he’s ever had to do. Rest in peace, Junior. We’ll miss you.”
Myers was featured on the long-running TLC show “Mad About You” in the 2022 season when Dangerfield was 85 years old. Myers wants to be a gospel singer. He got his nickname after a video of him singing a song about one of his favorite foods went popular.
A family representative set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for Myers’ funeral. On the page, it said that Myers “used his musical talents to bless others since the age of 10.”
“Larry would sing at special events for free most of the time, whether it was in a small storefront church in his hometown or on the big stage of the Apollo theater,” Sonya Hines-Hall writes on the page. “His struggles with gaining or losing weight never stopped him from loving and being kind to everyone he met,”
