On Friday, a jury in Idaho found Lori Vallow Daybell guilty of m*rder and conspiracy to commit m*rder, while a similar case in Arizona is still pending. Tylee Ryan, 16, and Joshua Vallow, 7, were k!lled, and their mother, Vallow Daybell, was found guilty of first-degree m*rder in both cases.
In addition, the jury found her guilty of conspiring to m*rder her husband’s ex-wife, Tamara Daybell. Vallow Daybell’s ex-husband, Charles Vallow, was m*rdered, and she is now facing additional charges of conspiracy to commit m*rder in Arizona. In 2019, her brother fatally sh*t him.
The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office stated in an email to The Arizona Republic, a member of the USA TODAY Network, that they have reviewed the charges against Vallow Daybell, which stem from the de@th of Charles Vallow in Chandler, Arizona, and the sh*oting of Vallow Daybell’s relative Brandon Boudreaux in Gilbert, Arizona.
After Vallow Daybell’s sentence is handed down in Idaho, the County Attorney’s Office plans to bring charges against her. Since charges were still pending, officials would not elaborate.
A ‘God-complex,’ a Broken Marriage, and a Corpse
In June of 2021, the Chandler Police Department turned over its investigation results to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. The County Attorney’s Office reported Vallow Daybell’s indictment on one count of m*der conspiracy later that month.
In July of 2019, Chandler police discovered Charles Vallow was sh*t multiple times. Alex Cox, Vallow Daybell’s brother, said he shot Charles Vallow in self-defense, but the two were suspected of working together. Cox passed away before the results of the probe were known.

Chandler police say that a single gunshot was located on the floor adjacent to Charles Vallow’s body, suggesting that the shooting may not have been in self-defense. Divorce papers were filed by Charles Vallow in February of 2019.
He claimed his ex-wife Vallow Daybell had a “God-complex” and was planning to usher in the end of days in the divorce papers. A companion of Vallow Daybell’s later said that Vallow had come to believe that her children were “zombies,” a term Vallow had learned from Chad Daybell to characterize people under the influence of evil.

A judge in Idaho found Vallow Daybell incompetent to stand trial in September 2021. The court ruled that she will be legally able to stand trial in 2022. Vallow Daybell, 49, will be sentenced in Idaho and could get life in prison if he is found guilty. Next, Arizona will be front and center.
