Man Shot In Hip During Domestic Quarrel: According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, a man was shot during a domestic incident that took place earlier that day on Saturday.
JSO officers responded to a call of a guy who had been shot in the hip at approximately 2:30 p.m. and found him at a residence on Melson Avenue. He had injuries that did not pose a threat to his life, so he was sent to the hospital to undergo surgery.
According to JSO, the man and another individual got into a confrontation with each other. The two people were arguing when it suddenly became physical, and one of them shot the other.
JSO has reported that they have the shooter in custody.
Investigators are gathering information and conducting interviews at this time.
