Michael Rubin is an American entrepreneur, businessman, and investor who is worth $11 billion. Michael Rubin made a lot of money by starting and running Fanatics, an online store that sells clothing and equipment. He is also the executive head of the Rue Gilt Groupe, which includes the online stores Gilt.com, RueLaLa.com, and ShopPremiumOutlets.com.
In the late 1990s, Michael started GSI Commerce. In 2011, he sold it to eBay for $2.4 billion.
Rubin’s Real Estate
Rubin spent $43.5 million on an apartment in the West Village of Manhattan in 2018. The 7,750-square-foot home has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, an outdoor kitchen, a study, a screening room, and a swimming pool. It also has a 4,944-square-foot roof terrace. In November 2020, he put the apartment on the market for $39 million.
Early in 2021, Michael bought a house in the Hamptons with more than 8,000 square feet and seven bedrooms for $50 million. This was $25 million less than the original price.
Michael paid $70 million in September 2022 for a house in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles that Ronald and Nancy Reagan had lived in for many years.

Rubin’s Accolades
At its Philadelphia Visionary Gala in 2011, the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) gave Rubin an award because he showed “the true spirit and determination of an entrepreneur.” That year, Michael was on the “20 Most Powerful CEOs Under 40” list from “Forbes,” and in 2018, he was on the “Power 50″ list from Bleacher Report.
“Sports Business Journal” put him on its list of the “Top 50 Most Influential People in Sports Business” every year from 2015 to 2019. In 2021 and 2022, it named him “Most Influential Person in Sports Business” and “Sports Executive of the Year.”
