Crews are looking into what happened after the body of an unidentified man was found in the East River. Police think it may be one of two boys who have gone missing.
Several people saw the body near the Madison Avenue Bridge, where it was found and brought to land.
Police said that based on how the body looked and what it was wearing, it seems to be one of two boys who haven’t been seen since they were last seen in Harlem.
First, he was taken to Randall’s Island, and then he will be taken to the office of the medical examiner.
The victim hasn’t been officially named, but the NYPD asked the public for help on Tuesday to find Garrett Warren, 13, and Alfa Barrie, 11.
