Missing Daughter’s Mother Claims People Are Impersonating Her

Jordan Smith went missing from Rowan County two years ago, and her family said that someone has been pretending to be her to get money.

Tracie Barbee from Concord said that people are trying to get money from her by using the name of her lost daughter.

The tweet below verifies the news:

“It’s sad that all she asked for was $200,” Barbee said.

The police caught that guy, but they also caught others.

Barbee said, “As I said, he wasn’t the only one, but he was the only one who got caught.” “I got hold of the phone number.”

Even with everything going on, family members are still holding on to hope this Mother’s Day weekend.

“I remember hugging her, telling her I loved her,” said Barbee.
