According to the Montgomery police department, a 16-year-old boy was killed by gunfire in the city.
The shooting occurred in the 1500 block of Hale Street at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to the police. Following their arrival, officers from the Montgomery Police Department as well as fire medics discovered that the teenager had sustained a deadly gunshot wound. According to a press release, the initial responders pronounced the person to be deceased.
