A food delivery driver was shot in North Philadelphia on Thursday afternoon, and police are looking into what happened.
Around 4:30 p.m., Chopper 6 flew over the area where police had blocked off the 1700 block of North Gratz Street.
A guy who worked as a delivery driver was shot in the chest, according to Action News.
Police took him to Temple University Hospital. He is in a critical state at the moment.

“I just heard about six shots, then a pause, and then another six shots,” neighbor Brett Wagner said.
“It’s normal, though it’s sad to say. That’s how it is. This is Philadelphia, where people do things like this every day,” said local Milan Toliber.
Police think that the victim worked for Grubhub and was in the area to drop off food.
Grubhub couldn’t say for sure if it was one of their drivers, but they did say in a statement, “Our thoughts are with the driver and his loved ones after today’s shocking event. We’ve offered to help the police in Philadelphia, and we’re currently trying to figure out if this was one of our transportation partners.”
Authorities think that stealing could be the reason.
