Following a brief police chase that resulted in a multi-vehicle collision and numerous injuries Tuesday afternoon, the westbound 10 Freeway was closed just west of downtown Los Angeles, according to police.
At least three injuries were reported at the scene, and Arlington Avenue’s westbound side of the 10 was blocked. Witnesses slowed down to observe the sight, which also caused the eastbound side to move slowly.
At the Arlington overpass, traffic was backed up at least to the 110 Freeway. There were perhaps seven vehicles involved in the collision.
