Homicide officers with the El Paso police are looking into the death of a man at a home in the Northeast over the weekend.
At 3:11 a.m. on Saturday, police were called to a house in the 5900 block of Ameen Drive in front of North Desert Park to check on the man’s well-being. He was taken to the hospital with unexplained injuries, where he later died, police said.
Channel 14-KFOX showed pictures of crime scene officers looking at a white car with damage to the front that was stopped on rocks in the front yard of a house.
The guy died under “suspicious circumstances,” and detectives from the Crimes Against Persons Unit are looking into the case.
On Sunday, the investigation was still going on, so the man’s name and other information were not yet known.
