A report citing Ray Liotta’s de@th certificate states that the actor passed away from heart and respiratory problems. Famous for his role as Henry Hill in Martin Scorsese’s “Goodfellas,” the actor passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 26, 2022, while filming in the Dominican Republic for the movie “Dangerous Waters.”
He was 67. The actor died of natural causes, per paperwork acquired by TMZ on Monday. TMZ said, he had abrupt heart failure, pulmonary edema (a buildup of fluid in the lungs), and respiratory insufficiency.
Liotta also had atherosclerosis, which is defined by the Mayo Clinic as “the buildup of fats, cholesterol, and other substances in and on the artery walls.” A blood clot is a potential outcome of atherosclerosis.
A spokesperson, Jennifer Allen, informed The Times at the time of his de@th that there were no signs of illness or suspicious circumstances surrounding his p@ssing. The Times’ Monday inquiry for confirmation from Allen went unanswered.
The decades-long, multi-genre career of Liotta is something to behold. In addition to “Charlie St. Cloud,” “Narc,” and “Operation Dumbo Drop,” he was recognized for “Field of Dreams,” “Something Wild,” “Corrina, Corrina,” and “Operation Dumbo Drop.”
