A home near the Ohio State University suffered roof damage that resulted in over thirty-two injuries.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, officers were called to East 13th Avenue at 7:40 p.m. on Saturday in response to a complaint of a roof collapse.
Authorities said that 20 additional persons were injured and were being treated by medics on the site in addition to the 14 patients who were transferred to OSU Wexner Medical Center, Grant Medical Center, and OSU East Hospital in stable condition.

According to Columbus Division of Fire Battalion Chief Rick Artrip, the building collapsed as several kids were gathered on the roof for a party.
Atrip explained, “We came immediately, made a quick evaluation, took the walking wounded and got them away, took the ones who are kind of hurt and took them and examined them and tested them by the medics, and we swiftly got them to OSU, Grant, and OSU East Hospital.
Artrip reiterated that the injuries sustained by those hurt do not pose a threat to life.
