Late Saturday night, two people were shot and killed at Cal Anderson Park in Seattle, and a third person was taken to a hospital in critical condition, according to police.
At around 10:30 p.m., representatives of the Seattle Police Department tweeted that they were looking into a shooting in Capitol Hill Park.
Three persons were found with gunshot wounds when authorities arrived, according to a statement.

One individual was declared dead at the scene “despite efforts by police and Seattle Fire to save his life,” according to police. The two further casualties were taken by medical personnel to Harborview Medical Center, where one guy eventually passed away and the other is still in critical condition.
Another individual “who was involved but fled the scene before officers arrived,” according to the police, is being sought.
Homicide and CSI detectives from Seattle will oversee the probe.
