On Friday, police in Arlington, Texas, announced the capture and capital murder charge of a man wanted in connection with a shooting and attempted robbery that occurred in February. On February 23 at the 2200 block of Lincoln Green Circle, Camereon Foster, 27, was shot multiple times during an attempted robbery, and Dontrevan Kenner was arrested by Arlington police in connection with Foster’s death.
Foster was discovered by police in a Chevrolet HHR from 2010. The SUV, which was still moving, looked to have crashed into a parked vehicle while in reverse. After rushing Foster to the hospital, doctors there confirmed his death.
Following “a thorough investigation,” Arlington homicide investigators were able to secure an arrest warrant for 17-year-old Dontrevan Kenner on one count of capital murder, according to a press release from the Arlington Police Department.
U.S. Marshals from the North Texas Fugitive Task Force located Kenner at an Arlington apartment complex and arrested him without incident. Kenner was arrested and put into the Arlington City Jail on many charges, including capital murder, following a shooting on January 20 that left two persons wounded.
He is now being held in Tarrant County Jail. According to investigators, Foster and Kenner were “engaging in high-risk drug activity” when the incident occurred. There may be further arrests as a result of this probe.
