Another man connected to the death of Youcef Khelil in Repentigny, Quebec, has been detained by the provincial police.
Khelil, 21, passed away on March 25 after being discovered injured after being shot.
The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) reports that on Saturday night in Montreal’s Hochelaga neighborhood, police detained 20-year-old Alexandre Durand-Artiles.
To answer allegations linked to murder, kidnapping, forced detention, and making threats, Durand-Artiles is anticipated to make telephone and in-person court appearances today and tomorrow, respectively, at the Joliette courtroom.
In relation to Khelil’s killing, the SQ detained Raymond Félix Bakodok, 21, on March 27.
In March, Bakodok appeared in court in Joliette to answer many accusations, including first-degree murder.
