A fight between a violent man who had a hostage and cops in Las Vegas is over.
On Tuesday afternoon, a SWAT team was able to arrest a man who was holding a woman hostage in the famous Caesars Palace hotel-casino.
The man said he was armed and had spent the morning throwing big things out of his hotel room window, causing people on the pool deck to run for cover.

The woman being held in the room with the man doesn’t seem to be hurt.
Video taken by a bystander showed broken glass and other trash on different decks of the Caesars.
Police haven’t said if any guns were found at the standoff site.
After a gunman killed 58 people in his Las Vegas hotel room in 2017, there was a short fear that there could be another mass shooting on the Strip.
