According to two U.S. officials, the outlet mall shooter who k!lled eight and injured numerous more had been discharged from the service 15 years prior due to mental health difficulties, including his inability to deal with stressful transitions.
Army officials said they had been worried about Mauricio Garcia‘s mental health ever since he enrolled in basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia, in June 2008. They stated he also suffered from an adjustment condition.
A prevalent mental health problem among active-duty service personnel is adjustment disorder, which is characterized by intense feelings of emotional anguish.
The sh*oter, who was 18 at the time, was dismissed from the military after only three months of training, during which time he was meant to learn the skills necessary to become an infantry soldier.

The authorities claim that he was removed before he could undergo firearm instruction. Officials now claim they were wrong in their belief that they were not obligated to report concerns about the sh*oter since he had never publicly communicated a threat or committed a crime while serving in the Army.
The 33-year-old sh*oter at Allen Premium Outlets in Allen on Saturday afternoon brought multiple we@pons, including an AR-15-style rifle and a handgun, and randomly opened f!re on people.
A 3-year-old boy and his parents were k!lled during the sh*oting spree that lasted for around four minutes.
