Three Guys Stabbed Near UI Campus

In the early morning hours of Saturday, there was a fight near the University of Iowa campus. Three men were attacked.

After reacting to a big fight in the 300 Block of S. Gilbert Street just before 2 a.m., the police sent out the first alert. Half an hour later, students were told to stay away from the area because several people had been attacked and others had run away.

The patients are being treated at the University of Iowa Hospital. Their ages are not known right now, but they were said to be young.

“There are multiple cases. The University of Iowa Police Department said on Twitter that they are looking for a suspect.

In a later update on Saturday, campus police said that the fight was between people who knew each other and that there is no clear threat to the public.

Police said no other information will be given out at this time because a probe is already going on

It happened just days after a former student at the University of California, Davis is said to have stabbed three people and killed one of them near the school last week.

On Thursday, the university said that cops from the city of Davis, UC Davis, and the FBI had found and arrested a person who was a suspect in all three stabbings.

Carlos Dominguez has been found to be the person. Dominguez was in his third year at UC Davis when he was kicked out for academic reasons on April 25, 2023.

Mr. Dominguez was charged with killing two people and trying to kill one other person. He said he wasn’t guilty.
