Police in Washington state said that when employees of an Apple Store in Lynnwood arrived at work, they discovered a hole in a wall and that hundreds of iPhones with a combined value of $500,000 had been stolen.

On Monday, April 3, employees at Alderwood Mall made the discovery that the theft had occurred the previous evening, as stated by the Lynnwood police department on Twitter.

According to Eric Marks, the retail manager at Seattle Coffee Gear, who spoke with KOMO about the incident, the burglars broke into the Apple Store by cutting a hole in the wall of the bathroom of the shop that is located next door to the Apple Store.
