According to Julia, “two minutes” after the police came, he voluntarily turned himself in and was arrested. There’s a widely-shared video of cops arresting him with a gun on the floor nearby. The victim, a guy in his twenties who has been named by authorities, was located outside the mall entrance after the shooting and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

According to law enforcement, his condition is critical at this time. Police are looking into claims the perpetrator and the victim had a confrontation just before the shooting, as stated by Julia. As far as the police are aware, Colie and the victim did not know one other before the incident.

According to Julia, the mall’s management decided to keep the complex closed for the rest of Sunday after deputies searched the premises, which comprises more than one hundred retailers.
