Wanted Suspect Captured Following Multi-County Chase Ends in Harris County

On a Friday afternoon, around 1:41 p.m. on March 14, 2025, a Precinct 4 Deputy on a routine patrol near CR 48 and Pomona Parkway spotted a green Dodge Challenger with expired registration.

During a traffic stop, the officers discovered that the vehicle’s license plate was linked to a man who was wanted on several warrants and had a reputation for being confrontational with law enforcement. Deputies from the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office were called in to provide support.

The Deputy spoke with the driver, who stated that he did not have a driver’s license and provided a name that could not be confirmed. Upon the Deputy’s return to inquire more about the driver, the suspect ran away, sparking a chase.

The pursuit started on CR 48, went through Pearland onto FM 518, and then headed northbound on SH 288 into Harris County. It all came to a halt near Cullen Parkway when the suspect’s front right tire gave out. The suspect tried to escape on foot but was caught after a short chase.

Authorities later confirmed the suspect’s real identity and found several active warrants.

The suspect had an active protective order in Guadalupe County. He now faces extra charges for Evading in a Motor Vehicle (F3) and Failure to Identify Fugitive from Justice (MA).

The Precinct 4 Constable’s Office expressed gratitude to the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in making the arrest.
