Elon Musk stunned the world on Tuesday by replacing Twitter’s iconic blue bird logo with a Bitcoin parody. On the Web version, the ‘Doge’ joke appears in the top left corner of the Twitter feed home screen. This is the most recent change since Mr. Musk paid $44 billion for the microblogging platform last November.

He had previously posted that beginning in April, Twitter will only recommend material from paid accounts in the For You feed, which is the first page users see when they start the app.
The use of the ‘Dog’ joke as a logo has provoked a flood of responses on Twitter.

“Elon Musk changed Twitter Logo to Doge. Is it fun Tuesday on Twitter?” one user asked. “Always some attention seeky nonsense happening on Twitter. Who cares if it’s a bird or a doge,” said another.

As more individuals began to question why the logo had been changed, Mr. Musk responded with two tweets, both of which were funny in nature. One of his tweets depicts the ‘Doge’ meme’s face riding in a car while a police officer allegedly checks the driving license, which bears the ‘old’ bluebird emblem.

“That’s an old photo,” Doge informs the officer. Mr. Musk then published a screenshot of an earlier conversation with a user who urged him to  “buy Twitter and change the bird logo to a doge”. in another tweet. In the tweet, he stated that everything was completed “as promised.”

Meanwhile, Vox highlighted an “important” piece of news that users are pointing to a Reuters report claiming that Mr. Musk is facing a $258 billion lawsuit alleging he ran a pyramid scheme to boost dogecoin. A few days before the meme appeared on Twitter, the Twitter CEO’s legal team petitioned the court to dismiss the dogecoin litigation.
