The Sutter County Sheriff’s Office says that a 21-year-old woman and a 1-year-old girl died Friday in a head-on crash on Highway 99 near Live Oak.
The woman has been named Allyson Nohelia Navarro-Salazar, but the name of the baby has not been released. At the spot, both were said to be dead. A third person in the car with Navarro-Salazar had serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Officials say that two cars crashed into each other head-on, and a third car hit one of the cars from behind.
Officials say that the people in the other two cars weren’t hurt badly enough to put their lives in danger.
