Woman Arrested at Work for Hitting Mother and Daughter on Georgia Beach During Orange Crush

Police in College Park arrested a 22-year-old woman who talked about “leaving her footprint on Tybee Island.” A video that has gone popular seems to show that she beat up a mother and daughter at the illegal 2023 Orange Crush event.

Police say that Jasmine Murphey posted videos of the beating on social media, making her look like a suspect. She said that she was going to “leave her mark on Tybee Island.”

More than 6,000 people have shared Murphey’s post.

Thursday, College Park police found Murphey at her job and detained her on charges of aggravated assault and robbery.

A big group of people beat and stole from the victims, who haven’t been named, on the beach on Saturday, April 22.

“Since then, many of you have brought that tape to our attention and told us how shocked and disgusted you are that something like that could happen on the island. “We feel both your sadness and your worry,” the police department said in a Facebook post.
